Note on equal treatment of sexes

As a general rule, all statements and syntactic notations on the ON Website, including all documents, leaflets and pamphlets which can be downloaded from this website, as well as in the text of Austrian Standards (ÖNORMs) are meant to be gender-neutral and shall, therefore, be interpreted accordingly. For instance, the German designation "Experte" (expert) always includes the feminine form "Expertin". For reasons of better legibility, the plural form "ExpertInnen" has not been used.
