Interpretative Documents
With the aid of Interpretative Documents the connection between the "essential requirements" according to the Construction Products Directive and the mandates issued to CEN for the development of harmonized product standards or EOTA for the development of ETAGs is being made.
Interpretative Documents provide fundamental information for the development of mandates, e.g.:
- Unification of terminology and technical concepts, if necessary;
- Listing of classes or values for "essential requirements", if necessary.
